audience feedback

for my audience feedback i asked ten girls of my target audience to complete a quesionnaire about my magazine; overall my feedback was really good. here are some of the responses i receieved:

1. what does the title 'touch' suggest to you?

"that it is a magazine that catches your eye and demands you to touch it and read it."
"that the magazine touches up on the lastest gossip and music."
"that it is intouch with all celeb gossip and music."
"a sense of personal reaction, response if you read this magazine."
"to make you want to touch/purchase the magazine."

2.  what genre/type of music does the magazine focus on and how do you know this?

"r'n'b, because of the well known r'n'b artists who are included."
"r'n'b, the artists on the front page are popular r'n'b artists."
"r'n'b, because you can tell by the style of magazine."
"r'n'b, as the main story is about the new lady of r'n'b which gives it away."
"r'n'b, simply because of the artists included inside the magazine."

3. what makes the pages look professional and what stops them from looking professional?

"the layout of each page looks very professional."
"the colour scheme, photographs and the text all look professional."
"the photographs are good which makes it look professional."
"the photographs look professional and the article also sounds and looks professional."
"the composition of the magazine front cover and the photographs that have been taken look professional."

" the barcode and price makes it seem genuine."
"it looks genuine because of the layout, the photographs, title, different font styles and colour."

5. does the contents page simply inform or does it also manage to interest you in reading the rest of the magazine?

"it informs, but tells you about the magazine because of the photos that have been included. also gives you a small insight to what each page holds."
"it informs but it also interests me to read on as the photos make it look interesting."
"the contents does inform but includes photos also and a short line trying to indulge readers but it could do with more persuading."
"it informs you of the contents of the magazine as well as interesting the reader and making you want to read on."
"it both informs and entertains as the photos on the side are interesting."

6. does the article sound like a piece of journalism? if not what bits dont sound right?

"the interview sounds really realistic and in my opinion the journalism is good. i would definatly but this magazine i wanted to read more."
"yes, humorous and informative!"
"yes it sounds like a piece of jouralism as the article seems very professional."
"it definately sounds like jouralism, purely because it advertises the new artist really well."
"the interview is realistic and grabs your attention straight away.

7. does the article layout make you want to read it? if not why not?

"it makes me want to read on because the layout makes it look like there is so much to read and find out."
"the layout is modern and grabs your attention when you look at it."
"yes it does because the quotes make me want to find out what she is going on about."
"yes because of the large photo on the right, the article looks minimal and easy to read."
"yes, the layout is good, fresh, modern and up to date with those magazines you seen on the shelf everyday."

final front cover

this is the final front cover for my music magazine. i have included more subheadings so it can convince my target audience to purchase my magazine as there is alot included inside. the image i have used is the artist of the feature article (modeled by my sister) and i have put the image into the black and white effect because then the writing on the page can be seen clearly and will stand out better. i have used two different fonts for the page which are Zapfino and BlairMdICT TT but i have mostly used BlairMdICT TT because this is my favourite font as it stands out really good and is really clear.

final contents page

this is the final of the contents page of my music magazine. i have now included a contents of some of the music and features which are included inside my magazine and i have shown what music and feature is on which page. the images i have used have been taken by myself and i have numbered the images to show the reader what page they can find each artist on.

final feature article

this here is the final double page spread of my music magazine. as you can see i have completed my feature article which includes a brief introduction about the artist and then a interview between the magazine and the artist. i have included the nickname "T" for touch (the magazine) and "J" for the artist to show the reader who is saying what in the article. i have made a change of colours on the pages as my colour theme has changed, so now i have used a pale pink for the title and again used pale pink and also baby blue for the quotes on the image to make it more colourful. another part of these pages i have changed are the quotes included on top of the image as i have now used the font BlairMdICT TT this is because it wasn't very clear when i used the font Zapfino. i have used the fonts Zapfino and BlairMdICT TT throughout the double page spread. the image i have used is of the artist (modeled by my sister) and i have put into the black and white effect because i think that is looks really effective and creates a magazine look.

development of front cover

this here is the first stage of my front cover. the model used is my sister, jessica white. i have edited the image by putting it into a black and white effect; for the title  i used the font blairmdITC TT and i used a pale pink to make it stand out well, and placed it on top of the page. i have included the barcode, date of issue and the price on the bottom of the cover to show the audience what issue it is and price.

this is the next stage into creating my front cover. i have now included a strapline on top of the cover which repeats ' the uk's biggest monthly music magazine'. i have included my leading caption which is introducing the new artists i have created and will be completeing an article on.

at this stage i have really added or changed much as you can see but i have added a slogan ' top 40 inside' which i hope will convince people to buy my music magazine and let it stand out from the other music magazines.
on this stage i have included six subheadings which gives the reader an idea of what is going to be inside my magazine and should convince them to buy my magazine. i have used a pale pink, baby blue, black and white to colour the text and give some colour to the front colour so they can also stand out.

development of contents page

this is the background i have chose for my contents page. i have used gradient, effect and colour tools to create a fading effect of black, grey and then white as these are the main colours of my colour theme.

next i added my title and my images. i have used the font blairmdITC TT for the title and i have mixed the lettering around to make it look better and give it more style. the images i have used are of my sisters dunks which i have repeated four times in a line down the side of the page. at first i was going to do a collage of different things associated with music, for example instrumentals, other artists etc, but i decided that i wanted to use these images as i think they look great.

in this image as you can see i havnt really edited much but i have decided to change the colouring of the title because there was too much white in the page which made it look quite plain so seen as though purple is my main colour in my colour theme i have used the colour purple; however i have left the last letter 's' white as i think this will look alot better then having all the letters purple, it gives it a more 'cool' look.
this here is what i have completed so far for my contents page as you can see i have changed quite a few things, firstly i have changed the images as they are now of other artists which are going to be included in my magazine because they make the page look like it is included inside a music magazine as it has varies artist on it; also i have changed the colours of the title but still kept the layout of it because i thought that the purple colour looked pretty dull so i instead i have chosen to use baby blue and pale pink which means my colour theme has now changed too. 'march 2010: touch' is now included on this page next to the title as they shows the reader that it is the march 2010 issue and the name of the magazine is touch.

development of feature article

this here is my first attempt of starting my feature article page. so far i have just placed on the right hand side page the image i am going to be using for my feature article. on the left hand side i will be including the title of the article and the actual article itself.

next i added the title 'a model face... but now the new lady of r'n'b' for my feature article. i have used the fonts zapfino and handwriting - dakota for my text. also i have added a quote next/on the image to give the reader a feel of what is going to be included inside the article.

this is a quick preview of what i am working on, on my feature article page . as you can see i have started to add my actual article on the page; the article is going to be laid out in columns as this would be the most ideal way of laying it out because i am also including an interview in my article so putting it in columns means the readers will be able to read it alot better and easier.

photographs edited

these three photos below consist of three different effects which i have used on photoshop to try out
any effects for my final photos. the first image i have used the smudge stick tool which has actually smudged the image; i think this looks really good but i think it is too bold for my magazine. for the second image i have used the poster edges tool which has given my image i real edgey look and looks real good as it makes my model stand out easy which is a good reason to may be use this image tool for the final image for one of my pages. for the final image i have used the neon glow tool and i choose to use the colour purple as this is one of the colours included in my colour theme but i dont think i will be using this effect as i think it makes the image look dull and boring.

photoshoot

i have recently taken my photographs for the pages in my magazine. i have used a white background for one image which i will be using for the feature article page as inside my magazine i will be using a colour theme of black, white, grey and purple and this photo will help represent my colour theme, and i have also used a purple decorative wallpaper for my other photographs as purple is one of my colours in my colour theme, i have used a decorative wallpaper to make the background and the picture look really good and effective. here are my main photographs for my magazine below,

mock up of feature article pages

this drawing is a mock up of what i am going to have my feature article double page spread like. on the left hand side page i will include the title of the article and the article itself; however for my article i will be including a brief introduction of the new artist and an interview with the artist. on the right hand side page i will include a photograph of the artist and around the photograph i will be including quotes from the interview so then if my target audience is flicking through the magazine then i will want interesting things to catch their eye so including quotes will hopefully make them want to read all the article and purchase my magazine.

mock up of contents page

this drawing here is a mock up of what i want my contents page to be like. i have included the title at the left hand side but arranged them in a different type of way to make it stand out and give it its own unique touch. underneath the title i will include the text of what is on each page of the magazine to give the reader a feel of whats going to be inside. then on the right hand side i will be using alot of different photographs of things to do with music for example instrumentals, other artists etc, to create a collage.

mock up of front cover

this drawing here is a mock up of my front cover as this is what i want my front cover of my magazine to initially look like. i have drawn my model in the middle of the magazine because i want her to be the main focus and have all the attention as i want her to be able to appeal to my target audience. i haven't included alot of side headings because i haven't decided which ones to put on yet as i want some that will definitely appeal to my target audience so i am just going to add them onto my final piece once i have thought about them all but the ones already on are the ones i will be using.

draft of my article

From modeling to singing, jessy is showing both her beauty and her voice in her latest release. And if her voice is as good as her looks then… Jessy, we want your secret!!!

To call Jessica white – aka jessy – just another model is an understatement. At only 19, she’s pretty much done it all. She’s got the voice, the looks and after catching up with her this week she is also one lovely little lady too, so what more could you want?! Modeling – wise, jessy has appeared in many fashion shows and also modeled for many designers including Roberto Cavaelli and Vivenna Westwood. And, as for her personal life, she’s dating gorgeous footballer David Hoilett… Phew! Jessica White most people would know her as one of the most beautiful models there has ever been, she has done covers for Vogue, Elle and many more, so she is pretty well known for her modeling and stunning looks; however, she’s ditched the modeling and recently released her new single so this week we caught up with the lady herself to find out about what happened with the big leap from model to the latest r’n’b artist.

Lets get to the point… model to artist, how did that happened?

Well, after being a model for almost 4 years I fancied a changed and as I became a big hit with my modeling I thought id try something new as I love a new start at something different and a good challenge.

Had you always want to be a model?

I started modeling when I was 15 and that was only for a catalogue because my mum thought id be perfect for it so she signed me up to several catalogues and I ended up getting some offers back from a few of them. After appearing in the catalogue I started getting recognized a lot which then resulted in me becoming a model for designers and magazines as I had been recognized by them. So really it was something I enjoyed doing for fun and something my mum thought id be good for but I actually didn’t think id get this far but while being a model and before I became one I was always writing music, going to millions of concerts and just always listening to music… I was music mad!! So really I always wanted to be a singer and now my dream is actually coming true hahaha!

Well its certainly happened now. How does it feel to be famous?

Sometimes I miss being unknown – being able to go shopping without someone snapping up a quick shot of me and the constant begging of fans asking for photos and autographs which I love but not when I want to do some good shopping,  any girl hates getting distracted while she’s shopping!

How would you describe your music style?

Ever since I was younger I was a huge r’n’b fan, it was all I listened to. I was crazy about Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Ne-yo! So yeah I would say my music style is definitely r’n’b.

What do you do when you’re not working?

I just like to be normal. I like to go home to Manchester, see the family, have a good catch up and just be myself – it’s the only time I really feel at home when I’m with that lot.

How does it feel being in a recording studio instead of appearing as the face of Vogue?

Its really strange because im used to bright lights of the cameras all the time as millions of photos were always taken but now I don’t have to worry about looking my best I can just be myself and wear whatever I want, like the other day we were recording and I was just in my pjs which I would never be in for a photo shoot, I loved it!

We gotta ask is it love with David?

Hmmmm I was waiting for this one but I could possibly say yeah I think it is, we have been together for 3 years and its going so perfect I couldn’t ask for a better person to be spending my days with right now. We’re very happy, it’s a beautiful thing to be able to share your life with someone.

reader profile

This image here is what i expect for my readers profile to be like as my magazine is going to be an r'n'b genre and this reader is a big fan of r'n'b simply because she is a street dancer and likes the music of Neyo, Chris Brown, Amerie and Keri Hilson who are all r'n'b artists. The fact that she is a young single female could mean that she would be easily attracted to many 'hot' 'sexy' artists (as she does say she likes Neyo and Chris Brown who are known to be two attractive men in the music industry), which is something i could think about including in my magazine as this will attracted my target audience as she is within my target audience.

planning photo shoot

The person who i am going to use as my model and write about for my feature article as a new r'n'b artist is my sister Jessica White. I will be using different props and outfits for my photographs, for example i will be using big headphones for her to wear, glasses etc. The costumes she shall be wearing will consist of black, white, grey and purple colours as these are the colours which i will be using throughout my magazine (these colours will be my colour theme). The props and parts of the outfit which will be a purple are the items which i want to stand out the most because putting these things in a different colour to the black and white effect will definitely make them stand out as they will be very clear and noticeable. The casting shots for each photograph will be very different as i want the photographs to be able to show the readers what genre of artist she actually is without them reading anything. I am thinking of using a decorative background for some photographs but then a plain white background for the others.

moodboard

This image here is what i created myself for my moodboard. i have included some of my favourite female artists who are Victoria Beckham, Amerie, Ciara, Keri Hilson and Kelly Rowland. I have included female artists for my moodboard because i am doing a magazine which is targeted at a female audience and these are some of the female artists which i think most females will like as some of them were mentioned on my questionnaire. Each photo of the artists are in a black and white effect; this is because i want my magazine and the photos i will be taking to be in a black and white effect. however, i have included some purple items on my boardmood such as a purple ipod because i also want to include purple to my magazine as i will be using the purple to make things in/on my magazine stand out. Zapfino, BlairMDITC TT and Century Gothic are the three fonts which i have used on my moodboard; my favourite of the three fonts is the BlairMDITC TT font because i stands out well over the photos and looks good unlike the Zapfino font which looks too posh for the type of magazine i am producing and some people may not be able to read it, and the Century Gothic font just looks too boring and plain.

planning

Throughout the process of creating my music magazine i will be using varies equipment and technologies. I will be using in design to actually produce my magazine on and photoshop to edit any photographs i will be taking, i will be using these computer programmes on a mac, a digital camera to take photographs for the front page and inside my magazine and i also may be using different tones of lightening for my photographs.

I have thought of three different names which i could use for my magazine; these include Breezey, Touch and Replay. For my magazine i have decided to use the name Touch for the title as i will obviously want to try and attract people to 'touch' and buy my magazine so by calling my magazine Touch this will hopefully convince people to look through it and result in buying it.

magazine institution

To create a successful magazine it needs to be supported by a media institution to produce and distribute copies on the magazine. Some institutions such as IPC Media, VMG and EMAP produce hundreds of magazines, radio shows and other types of media. I think that either VMG or BMG would be great institutions to support my magazine; this is because they produce magazines such as Marie Clare, NME, Look and Heat in which some will have similarities to my magazine as some of these magazines are mostly targeted towards females as is mine. If I were to produce and sell my magazine, I would probably like to work with VMG, as this institution focuses on the magazine vibe which is my main influence. Working with them would maybe allow me to encourage Vibe readers to buy my magazine. Vibe magazine i'd say would be the biggest competition in the magazine business so if I worked with the same institute as them, I would be able to target the audience i want to straight away.

questionnaire

These questionnaires below are two examples of my questionnaire which i used to find out things such as what people like about magazines, whether they purchase them or not etc. Once i have got all my questionnaires filled in i will be able to see what sort of things come up which ill help me to create some ideas for my final magazine.

Monday, 8 February 2010

questionnaire results

After completely my questionnaire i have found out quite a few things which could help me with creating some ideas for my final magazine.

Looking at the graph towards the left you can see that the most popular genre of music people like is R'N'B which is the genre i have chosen to use for my magazine.
I also found out that not many people purchase music magazines which means i will have to create my magazine really good and appealing so people will actually purchase it.
However, i did find out that most people would purchase a music magazine if one was created for their age group which means that the target audience in which i am focusing on will purchase my magazine as it will be for their age group.
Everyone who answered my questionnaire said they would like to find out about the latest gigs/concerts going on which i could include in my magazine or on the front page of my magazine as a slogan to catch peoples attention as this is want they will want to see.
Again everyone who answered my questionnaire said big artists they like would convince them to buy a music magazine were include on the front page or inside the magazine. This is another thing which i would include in my magazine or on the front magazine because it would obviously get peoples attention and hopefully purchase my magazine. Some of these big artists included 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Ne-yo, Christina Aguilera, Jay Sean and many more, all of which are R'N'B artists so this will also give me an idea of who else to include in my magazines.

Feedback 2.2.10

Hayley,

Good work again. Try to get your audience research completed then you can get planning your own magazine. I would like you to have all your research and planning completed by half term so that you can take all your photographs over the holidays in time to start production fully after half-term.
Keep up the hard work!

analyse artist images

this image is again of the artist Amerie. it has been used for the magazine 'honey'. the body language of the artist is very confident and open as she is using is a sort of 'sexy' pose which will attract male readers as they may find her very attractive but this image can also attract female readers as they may like the style of the her hair or her fashion. the image is in a black and white effect which looks really good and the title of the magazine is in a dark and light pink font which makes the title of the magazine stand out really well.

analyse artist images

this image is an album cover of Amerie. the colours used for this cover all contrast really good together as the bright yellow striped background make the artist stand out really well as she is wearing more dull colours which helps you focus on the artist. the name of the artist and the title of the album is laid out well and the font used is very effective as it has its own unique style. the use of the camera is really good as there are three different poses of the artist. this album cover will mainly attraction females as it looks girly and her fashion will want them to see more of her outfits.

analyse artist images

this image here is of the artist Amerie. the colours used for this image makes it look really good as they all contrast great together with the plain white background to make the artist stand out well as the image is focusing on her. the artists body language is very confident as she is posing with an attitude which looks really good. females will be attracted to this artist and her music as they may like her fashion and think she looks like she would be a good artist as she looks good; males will also be attracted to her and her music as they will find her attractive.

analyse the top 40 downloads

this here is the latest top 40 downloads of this month. the music which has been downloaded is mainly the genre that i am focusing on in my magazine, so the fact that they are in the top 40 downloads prove that this is a popular type of music.

analyse the journalist style and structure

this feature article here includes Leona Lewis, Simon Cowell and Clive Davis. the article is told as if the writer is telling the reader instead of it being like an interview; unlike an interview where the writer and artist are speaking face to face the information of the artist is told straight however there are some quotes given by each of the celebrities included in the article, eg Leona said 'i was having cold sweats, thinking i was up next' this makes the reader feel that they are involved as the information Leona gives is very open and honest. the structure of the text is in a simple layout so it is understandable and clear.

my unique selling point

my music magazine is aimed at a female audience who are interested in knowing about new, current and old r'n'b music. to make sure my magazine sells i must chose well at deciding what information to put in my magazine and also how to design it. most magazines will use the celebrities which they include inside their magazine and on the front cover as their unique selling point as big stars will get loads of attention to readers. even though i will be including big stars inside my magazine this will not be my unique selling point like other magazines; i think that the unique selling point for my magazine will be that its audience is for females. magazines such as kerrang and nme target male and female audiences not just one particular audience. as my magazine is going to be targeted just for females it can include lots of girly colours, information etc which males wouldn't want. this allows the target audience to read about the music they enjoy, and not have things to read that males would enjoy. as well as meaning that loads of girls are going to appeal to my magazine as it is a magazine just for them, it will make my magazine stand out and be unique to other music magazines.

Feedback 29.01.10

Hayley,

You have really got going on this project which is good to see. However, you need to make sure that you complete all the research section before launching in to the planning stage as this should inform your design decisions. Work through the checklist and ensure you complete all the tasks. You need to aim to have the planning complete by the end of next week. You should next work on the audience research to identify and clarify who they will be, what they want from the magazine etc. Produce a questionnaire - keep it simple and briefd and distribute. You will then need to collate and summarise your findings, present some data in charts/graphs and consider how you can use your finding to inform your design decisions. Good work so far. Keep it up!

research of r'n'b magazine feature article

this image here is a feature article; this double page gives the idea that this magazine is an r'n'b magazine as the article is on a well known r'n'b band, the black eyed peas, it also gives the idea that it is aimed for both males and females as they will both like the bands style of music as the band consists of both sexes. the image used on the article is of all members of the band; however this particular article is only on one of the members will.i.am, you can see this as his name is stated in the left corner of the left hand side page and also he is the only member who is in complete colour unlike the other members of the band who are faded. on the left hand side page there is a slogan 'will he wont he?' which is in large writing, this will attract the readers attention easily as it is very noticeable and the reader will want to know what he is meant to be doing and will he do it so this will make the reader want to read it. underneath this slogan there is some text which gives some information about the artist; the chosen text is usually linked to what the article is going to be about. there is also a quote which is clearly noticeable on the right hand side page this will give the reader an idea of what the article is going to be about if they are just flicking through the magazine. the plain white background looks very plain but the image of the band contrasts with it great, to make the double page look really good. the colour of the font also contrasts with the background great as the colours are the same of the colours of the clothes the band are wearing.

ideas of a contents page

this here is my idea of how i may lay out my contents page for my magazine. i have included the title on the top of the page clearly in a scruffy style font, i have stated where i may include my image and text; i have put my image to one side and the text to the other. i think that this layout for my contents page does look pretty boring and plain but when the proper text and image is completed it should look better. to improve my contents page i could lay it out differently to give it its own unique style so it doesn't look boring or dull.

research of r'n'b magazine contents page

this here is a contents page of the magazine vibe. this contents page gives the idea that the magazine is aimed at both males and females. the model Ciara can appeal to males with her appearance in the image as her body language is extremely open and confident as if she is flirting with the reader in this pose; however it can also appeal to females with her fashion and jewellery. the background is a faded grey colour which makes the page look really effective and also in the background there is an outlined v which represents the name of the magazine and makes it stand out. the title of the contents page is clearly shown and laid out in an unusual way which gives it its own unique style. the genre is also clearly shown which is r'n'b as the model used is an r'n'b artist. the colour scheme used is of greys and creams which looks rather plain but the skin colour of Ciara and her shoe colour makes it not as plain as they contrast great with each other. the features inside the magazine are clearly placed around the image, different texts are used for the title of the feature and what the feature is which is kind of unusual but this gives the contents page its own unique style.

continued research of r'n'b magazine covers

this is a magazine cover of the magazine company billboard. this magazine seems to be aimed at both male and female audiences, around the age of 15-20 years old, simply because of the types of celebrities included inside of the magazine for example Lil Wayne and Beyonce. the model who has been used for the cover is Soulja Boy; he is popular with both males and females as females may find him good looking as well as liking his music and males will also enjoy his music. the front cover picture of Soulja Boy shows that his body language is very confident with his good looks and cheeky smile. this will give a definite appeal to females with his appearance, but also males for his style of clothing and jewellery. there are many cover lines included on the right hand side of the image to tell the reader whats inside. the colour scheme used is of mainly  5 colours for the background and text which is of white, grey, blue, red and green however the model is dressed in purple, black, gold etc which makes him stand out more as the background is plain. the title isnt really that clear because the model is covering some of it up which means readers can not see which magazine it actually is yet it does stand out against the grey background. towards the bottom of the magazine there are two websites which can appeal to the reader as they can then go onto their website and get even more gossip of new music etc.

continued research of r'n'b magazine covers

this is a magazine cover of the magazine company vibe. i think this magazine seems to be aimed at both male and female audiences, around the age of 15-20 years old. i think this because the artists included on the front who are inside the magazine are popular with both males and females, for example Busta Rhymes. the model Janet Jackson who has been used is not a very popular artist of today, more of an 'old school' artist which suggest the magazine could be aimed to a more mature audience. the front cover picture of Janet Jackson shows that her body language is very open and confident, she also has a cheeky, confident happy facial expression, almost like a wink to the reader. this gives a definite appeal to males for her appearance, but also females for her fashion. there are many cover lines included around the image to give the reader an idea of what is inside. the colour scheme used is of 2 or 4 colours all over the page; blue, orange, black and white which all contrast with each other to make the magazine look good. overall the cover doesnt look too bright but looks mature and appealing; even though it does look rather similar to other r'n'b music magazines this one has a lot more cover lines around the image than the other magazines i have looked at.

research of r'n'b magazine covers

this is a magazine cover of the magazine company of rap up. i think this magazine seems to be aimed at female audiences, around the age of 15-20 years old. i think this because the artists used on the front cover are girls and the magazine looks girly with the types of colours which have been used. the models Teyana Taylor, Keri Hilson and Solange Knowles arnt that very well known so this could appeal alot to the readers as the magazine is promoting new artists and they are going to want to know about them and check out their music. the front cover picture of the models shows that their body language is very open and confident, they also have cheeky smiles and serious faces with the slogan stop and stare which may be trying to attract readers to get this magazine and to stop and read it as the girls pose using their hands as a stop sign. also the models used could appeal to females with their fashion and jewellery. there are several cover lines included around the image to give the reader an idea of what is inside. the colour scheme used is of 4 colours all over the page; white, orange, pink and yellow however the models are wearing a few other colours but still contrast with the cover colours to make the magazine look good. the title is clearly shown as it is big and bold which makes it stand out. overall the cover doesnt look too bright but looks girly and appealing.
